The image below was produced using OSI Trailmaster. This is a very handy computer program that helps in the creation of walking routes and maps. It also has a 3d map generator called “Space eyes”. It allows you to get a realistic aerial view of an area. Google Earth will probably have this feature included at some point in the future, but at this point Trailmaster is the only application that creates really detailed maps.
You should find this image useful in getting a better idea of the geography of Glendalough. If you need a larger version of the image please contact me and I will send it to you.
