Property prices in Wicklow

The latest report from the ESRI shows that property prices in Wicklow are (like the rest of Ireland) continuing to rise.

The growth rate in averages prices between ‘03 and ‘04 showed a 9% increase, with the average house price in 2004 costing €313,547. The pace of growth between ‘04 and ‘05 increased by 2% to 11% with the average house now costing €347,158.

This compares to an average increase of 11% in Dublin city and county, with average price in Dublin coming to €368,576.

Wicklow now has the most expensive house prices of the “commuter” counties in Ireland (the other commuter counties are Kildare and Meath).
