Ballyknocken House is going potty for Valentines

If you were touched by the pottery moment of Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze in the movie Ghost, well Ballyknocken Country House have teamed up with local potter, Brian Keogh to offer a romantically private pottery lesson for two, with plenty of wheel work (!) to celebrate Valentines in Wicklow.

Following a champagne breakfast in bed, guests are transported to Brian’s studio in Ashford. They will spend the morning working with clay, making their own pots on the wheel, decorating their tableware and making a personalised tile. Then it is back to Ballyknocken House & Cookery School for a romantic 4 course candle lit dinner followed by drinks by the log fires before luxuriating in a bubbly Victorian pedestal bath and turning in for the night.

A weekend packages to include Friday & Saturday night accommodation, full Irish breakfast (one of which is a Champagne breakfast in bed), 4 course candle lit dinner on Saturday night and half day private pottery class in the Brian Keogh Studio: €250 per person sharing
