Google Earth maps more of Wicklow

Google Earth is constantly adding more detail of areas in Ireland and some of the latest updates include North Wicklow.

Here are some of the images showing around the Bray area. If you load Google Earth on your computer and zoom in closely enough, chances are you will see your house if you live in the area.

  1. Looks like they haven’t mapped Rathdum area yet. Do they specify how old the photos are? IE if I look at my folks place in Dublin there’s a garden shed that was removed years ago.

  2. That’s one thing I don’t see on Google Earth but the images of Kilmac etc are fairly recent - has to be the last 12 to 18 months I would say. Hopefully they do map more of the County soon.
