County Wicklow’s radio station, East Coast Radio, is up for sale along with Dublin’s Country Mix.

It is estimated that the sale of both stations could achieve a price of €15 million.

East coast radio is considered to be profitable although its listenership figures are not stellar. Denis O’Brien’s Communicorp group is a shareholder in East Coast Radio but it is a small holding. It is considered unlikely his group will make a bid for control of East Coast.

East Coast Radio has been on the air in County Wicklow for approximately 15 years.
