The official website for Arklow Town is being plagued by spammers.

The website is run under the auspices of the Arklow Chamber of Commerce and Arklow Town Council.

Any visitor to the site who wishes to leave a message in the guestbook may be surprised to view some of the entries already there.

Spammers advertising everything from medication to poker sites have rendered the guestbook pages useless. Up to 20 spam messages are entered into the guestbook every day leaving a poor impression for the genuine visitor.
