The Irish Cancer Society Spring Walk has taken place every year for the last 14 years and raises vital funds for Cancer research. This years walk took place in the mountains over Alanya in the Turkish Riviera. 34 people from all over Ireland participated in the 200km trek over 6 days. A massive €165,000 was raised by the participants which included 7 walkes from County Wicklow. Each participant on the walk raised a minimum of €3,500 for the Irish Cancer Society.
