Bray Wanderers on course to meet UEFA license requirements
Bray Wanderers FC have received €385,000 from Irish Lottery Players under the Sports Capital Programme administered by the Government. The funding will go towards Phase 2 of development at the club and will provide for the construction of changing rooms, over basement, with terracing and retaining walks and the installation of a canopy to cover seating.
This bring the total funding allocated to Bray Wanderers under this programme to €1,013,948.
Commenting on the allocation of the funds made possible by the Lottery playing people of Ireland, Minister Dick Roche said “This is a very welcome boost for Bray Wanderers Football Club and their supporters. These improved facilities will allow the club to meet UEFA Licensing regulations, an essential requirement if the club is to start competing at the top level as we all wish.”
