Wicklow people talk more than most

A survey conducted by Eircom reports that phone users in County Wicklow are 4th in a nationwide league of chatterboxes.

Dubliners top the league, spending an average of 4 minutes 18 seconds per call. Meath’s residents are second in the league, Kildare is 3rd and then Wicklow.

The Eircom survey was based on calls made over 12 months up to May 2006 throughout the 26 counties.
