Deputy Billy Timmins has welcomed the decision by the EPA with respect to the illegal dump site at Whitestown, Stratford-on-Slaney, Co Wicklow which in effect means that all waste, with the exception of the inert material, has to be removed from the site.

Deputy Timmins has now called on the owners to immediately start the removal process and for Wicklow County Council to ensure that the conditions of the EPA licence are adhered to.  However Deputy Timmins, who put down a Dail motion on the issue, expressed concern that it has taken so long to arrive at this decision.
