Property developer pays €35m for Dell site in Bray

Park Developments have paid €35m for the former site of Dell on the Boghall Road in Bray.

According to a Sunday Business Post report, Property industry sources believe it to be likely that Park will seek planning permission to develop shops and apartments on the site of just over 9.5 acres. The site is currently zoned for employment use under the Bray Town Development plan. Additional parts of the site lie in the County Wicklow local authority area and is zoned “for appropriate industrial warehouse and large-scale retail warehousing” under its development plan.

It is believed that planners and councillors may be willing to seek a material contravention of respective plans to allow for mixed use development on the site which would predominantly be residential.

Park Developments are also part of a consortium with Wicklow County Council seeking to redevelop Greystones Harbour.
