Ritz Carlton Powerscourt opens on 1st October
Ireland’s first Ritz Carlton Hotel will open in Powerscourt on 1st October. The official opening ceremony takes place on Thursday, 4th October and will be performed by An Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern.
Located on a ten acre site, the 200 room hotel is situated in one of the most scenic areas of County Wicklow. A big attraction of the new hotel will be the Gordon Ramsay restaurant and the 30,000 square foot spa and fitness centre.
Those wishing for the ultimate in accommodation can stay in the “larger than most Irish houses” presedential suite for €5,000 a night.
