County Wicklow man faces trial over bomb find
Unison.ie reports that a County Wicklow man is to face trial for the possession of explosives in November.
“The Special Criminal Court has set a date for the trial of a Co Wicklow man charged with possession of an explosive device at the M1 motorway last November.
Thirty-seven-year-old Colin John Conlon, with an address at Burgage Industrial Estate, Blessington, Co Wicklow is charged with the unlawful possession of 104 rounds of assorted ammunition at Burgage Industrial Estate on November 25th last year.
He is also charged with the unlawful possession of an explosive substance - an improvised explosive device with a timing power unit - at the M1 motorway at Cloghran, Co Dublin, on the same date.
The court fixed July 12th for his trial date and he was remanded on continuing bail until then.”
