Wicklow Blogger wins Blog Award
Read the headline again, it doesn’t read Wicklow BOGGER, it’s Wicklow BLOGGER! Glad to get that out of the way first of all.
The local and national newspapers have all covered the story of well known Wicklow resident and Bona Fide Irishman Daniel Day Lewis winning an Oscar. I hope they will pick up on the story of another Wicklow resident and Bona Fide Irishman. I am talking about Wicklow resident Grandad, who has just picked up a well deserved award for Best Personal Blog at the Irish Blog Awards. This follows on from his award for Best Blog in the Golden Spiders last year.
I think I may be the first person to claim Grandad for Wicklow and from now on, all references to Grandad should be prefixed by Wicklow resident, so that the afformentioned Day Lewis be knocked from the google top spot.
So, in future, when you link to Grandad in any post, always link to Grandad’s site with the words Wicklow resident
Damien Mulley will probably be spitting blood when he sees this blatant attempt to rig google, but Day Lewis should NOT have the top spot. Anyone that wears ridiculous earrings like that does not deserve to be honoured with the title of Wicklow resident!
Well done on the win Grandad and continued success with your blog and future ventures.

Ya mean that Lewis fella only got an Oscar?
Sure I got a Golden Spider too. And I bet he doesn’t have one of them?
