Robyn Kavanagh “supporter” resorts to name calling on Youtube
A comment on Robyn Kavanagh’s official website http://www.robynkavanagh.net this morning said that someone was posting nasty comments about other competitors in the competition on Youtube. The comment was subsequently deleted off Robyn’s website but checking Youtube it does appear that someone going by the name of “Wicklowbabe” is indeed playing a silly game by belittling the other competitors.
In response to one Sharon Condon video, Wicklowbabe says
“don’t give up your day job” and “crap, crap, crap”
A Leanne Moore video gets a response of
“your going home, your going home, your going home. thank god… i could not take much more of that singing. She should of went home last night, She is so so bad……………… Go on Robyn show them how its done.. the only real Singer in the computation.” (note: computation is the spelling mistake of Wicklowbabe, not me)
Another video of Leanne Moore at work with children in a creche gets the lovely comment of “spa”.
All I can say to Wicklowbabe is stop giving Wicklow people a bad name. You can give Robyn your support in a positive way and you don’t have to resort to childish tactics like this. All the competitors in the competition are doing the best they can and deserve their place on the stage as much as Robyn. Throwing insults at others is no way to help Robyn win the competition.

It is with disappointment that I discovered that one of my supporters has been leaving nasty comments on my competitors UTube and Bebo site, all the guys in the “YOU’RE A STAR” competition have become my friends and we all support each other on the night, if I am nervous they are all there to support me and they same applies to them. So WICKLOWBABES I hope you get a chance to read this before you post anymore comments, please stop as it is unfair what your doing and also you are creating a bit of bad press which is not what the competition needs in the final week…. I do appreciate your support but in a positive way…..
At the minute I am in a hotel waiting to meet the producers of the show, and to log onto my website and be informed about what’s going on was a huge shock…… I have been to schools in Wicklow and if a comment like the one you left for Leanne Moore was left for me I would be very upset…. So Leanne, Sharron and Deirdre…… I sincerely apologies….. From me and all my supporters for the comments that were posted…

Hi Guys
I was also shocked to see the comments that were left on leanne’s & Sharons u tube… that was way out of order and very selfish of wicklowbabes to portray Robyn’s supporters in such a negative manner… in future it might be wise to consider Robyn’s feeling about a certain issue before you take it upon yourself to slate the people she has worked along side of for the past 16 weeks and thinks very highly of… if you knew Robyn you would already know this and after speaking to her myself i can clarify that she was shocked and appauled at the comments and at this stage of the competition when things are stessful enough, this is the last thing she needed…. so wicklowbabes please grow up and stop speaking on her supporters behalf……
